Why Shima Azee’

Shima means mother.
Azee’ means medicine.

For us, this name reflects the way Mother Nature heals us, especially in the stillness of the desert.
Here, the land becomes the teacher. The wind, the sun, the open sky, the ancient rock formations,each one offering its own kind of medicine.

Shima Azee’ is a homecoming to that natural wisdom.

This retreat carries the essence of what a mother represents: holding, nurturing, and guiding us back to ourselves.
Not through force, but through presence.
