What is breathwork?

Somatic Breathwork & Sound Healing with Rob & Kimiko

Rob and Kimiko offer a unique blend of Somatic Breathwork and Sound Healing, designed to support emotional release, stress reduction, and overall well-being. They provide individual, couples, and group sessions, as well as private sessions and customized retreats at their sanctuary in the Joshua Tree area.

OFFERINGS:

  • Each month, they host “The Gathering” in Orange County—a community event featuring appetizers, sound healing, and breathwork, creating a safe and supportive space to connect and recharge.

  • They also offer donation-based beach Breathwork and Soundbath sessions every Thursday at 5:00 PM at Tower 14, providing an accessible way for the community to experience healing in nature.

  • Whether through private sessions, group experiences, or immersive retreats.

Rob and Kimiko guide participants to release tension, reconnect with themselves, and cultivate a sense of balance and clarity in mind, body, and spirit.

Breathwork refers to any type of breathing exercises or techniques. People often perform them to improve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. During breathwork you intentionally change your breathing pattern.

There are many forms of breathwork therapy that involve breathing in a conscious and systematic way. Many people find breathwork promotes deep relaxation or leaves them feeling energized.

Breathing for awareness, relaxation, improved focus

People practice breathwork for a variety of reasons. Overall, it’s thought to bring about improvements in emotional state and to decrease stress.

People have practiced breathwork to:

SOUND HEALING

Kimiko offers a sound bath experience to private sessions, retreats, or private. It is a meditative experience and listen to resonant sounds, as you slip into an alternate world. Goldsby's study, published in the Journal of Evidence-Based Complementary & Alternative Medicine, found that sound baths significantly reduce tension and lower levels of anxiety, depression, anger and even physical pain.

The Frequencies distributed from the bowls will re align the chakras and bring a peaceful and calming meditative state of being.

Sound healing and Breathwork have been some of our strongest healing ceremonies and work so beautifully hand in hand.
